- For best facial waxing results your hair needs to be at least 1/4″ long- otherwise the shortest one will remain unplugged.
- Clean upper lip area (or the targeted facial zone) with a pre-wax cleanser or other cleanser and dry thoroughly. That will reduce irritation and also will protect your skin during the process of facial hair waxing.
- Put powder over the area that will be treated. The powder will absorb the remaining moisture in that area easing the waxing process.
- Prepare your wax at the temperature stated by your product specification.
- If you plan on waxing the upper lip-divide it into two sections- left and right.
- Stretch your skin taut by rolling your upper lip down over your teeth. That help reduce pain, redness and hair breaking.
- Apply wax evenly in direction of hair growth using applicator (wooden stick) to one of the sides first.
- Apply enough wax to thoroughly cover the hair.Be careful not to make it too thick so that it becomes hard to remove.
- Grasp onto the end of the wax strip that is not attached to hair. Hold skin taut with one hand, and pull the strip in the opposite direction of hair growth with one quick movement, all the way to the other side.
- Use clean tweezers to remove any hairs left by the wax while holding skin taut. Do not repeat because the facial skin area is very gentle and easily irritated.
- Remove any wax remained with wax remover, baby oil or any other oil.
- After facial waxing do not wash or moisture the treated area- Contact with water could easily cause irritation and rash
